Students at Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, NJ collected over 100 pairs of glasses for their “Save the World” Unit program. A Spring Unit course is taken by all Upper School students each year. The class meets as a group for two weeks, intensively studying a topic and learning cooperatively. The “Save the World” Unit focused on various recycling initiatives. When the school reached out to the club to make the donation, Lion Jaime took the opportunity to not only pick up the glasses, but to share a bit about the history and mission of Lions International with the students.
