Annual Scholarship Application Process is Open

The Chester Lions Club will be accepting applications for its annual scholarship initiative.  Interested students are encouraged to apply.
High school seniors maintaining residence in the towns of Chester, Mendham and Washington Township in Morris County are eligible to apply for numerous scholarship opportunities offered by the Chester Lions Club.
Candidates are selected based upon financial need, scholarship achievement, community and school accomplishments and leadership skills.  Extenuating circumstances, financial and otherwise, will be considered as well. The scholarships are available for college, county college and recognized trade schools and are open to both public and private school seniors.
Applications will be available at the West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham high schools from the guidance and college resource centers.  Private school seniors can obtain applications from their guidance departments as well.
All completed forms from West Morris Central and West Morris Mendham seniors must be returned to their respective high schools on their assigned dates.  Private school applicants must return their documents to:
Lion Joe Youngman, Scholarship Chairman, 19 Jackie Drive, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
